Invisalign kyle - Invisalign is a modern orthodontic treatment that provides the benefits of braces without metal and wires. Invisalign clear aligners can correct a wide variety of orthodontic issues including crooked teeth, crowding, gaps and bite issues.
Invisalign clear aligners are made to fit snugly over the teeth and are virtually invisible. They are custom-made for each patient using a scan of your teeth. Each set of aligners is worn for approximately two weeks, and then you will move on to the next aligner in the series. Aligners are worn for a minimum of 20- 22 hours per day and are only removed to eat, brush and floss. Each aligner shifts your teeth slightly and applies just the right amount of force in the right place at the right time. Each case is different, but on average, Invisalign treatment lasts about one to two years.
Q. Does Invisalign hurt?
- Not so much. Conventional metal braces have wires and brackets that can cause ulcerations on the inside of the lips and cheeks. With regards to the tooth movement itself you will experience a little soreness for 1 to two days after changing out a set of aligners but again that is nothing compared to the pain from braces and getting the wires tightened.
Q. I am over 30+ years old and my teeth don’t bother me.
- I have more older adults in Invisalign therapy than kids. Just because your teeth don’t hurt now, doesn’t mean they won’t fall prey to occlusal disease in the future. Teeth and function are dynamic and ever changing.
Q. How much does Invisalign cost?
- As with most orthodontic treatment, the cost depends on the complexity of treatment.

Q. How long does Invisalign take?
- Most treatments for Invisalign take under a year to finish. I will analyze your bite and your teeth and let you know at the time of the consult. In some cases Invisalign is faster than conventional braces!
